Boyd Farm is family owned and operated and sells produce right on the farm. Avery Boyd grew up watching his dad farm and in 1997 they switched from tobacco to produce. On their 10 acres of land, the father and son duo grow a variety of produce and eggs. They sell their produce at the Town of Halifax Farmers Market on Saturdays. They also supply local restaurants and are selling just about everything they can grow. The farm accepts SNAP and will sell produce on farm by appointment.
