Joe Gray runs a small sunflower patch in the town of Brandy Station, right outside of Culpeper. This tourist attraction pairs well with a corn maze, wheat, soy, corn, and a few cows at Auburn Farm. Together he and a partner farm about 1600 acres in total. Looking for ways to engage the community, Joe is planning to add a pumpkin patch this fall to add to his agritourism. Joe is mainly a conventional farmer but is seeking ways to diversify his operation.
