At Brunswick AgNCulture, JamiQuan Rudd and family have been a hub for the community. After years of community building and food growing, Brunswick AgNCulture is looking for a new home. After dealing with the harsh realities many people of color face, JamiQuan is determined to continue to feed her community and her family. While having a background in clinical social work Jami realized that most issues dealing with mental health issues stem from the lack of being able to meet basic needs. She became passionate in her quest to teach, feed, and guide those in her community. Not only did they set up a farm stand to provide their town of Brunswick with fresh produce, they also held events, and gatherings on their land to further build the black community. In Brunswick where the town is mostly populated with people of color, there are no grocery stores or quality places to eat. AgNCulture began to operate as a food hub and put energy into aggregating produce so the community would have access to it. Jami, now on the journey to finding new land to grow on, is still so very passionate about fresh food and her community. Refusing to give up hope on being a vessel to spread knowledge, Jami is asking for donations to rebuild her community hub. She plans to continue her Mastermind series where she helps growers build and grow their farm business. She also plans to continue to grow community and fresh produce so that the community can tackle the obstacles already placed on us, but in healthier ways.
